The dead included: Mr. Nguyen Khanh Chung, born in 1967, Mrs. Tran Thi Thu, born in 1980 (is the wife of Mr. Nguyen Khanh Chung), residing in Tan Giang block, Tuan Giao town, Tuan Giao district, Dien Giao province Bien and Dam Van Luc, born in 1963, reside in the Truong Xuan block, Tuan Giao town, Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Public Security Department directed the Criminal Police Department, Criminal Technical Department, Office of Investigation Police in collaboration with the Provincial Forensic Center, the Procuratorate's Office. People of the province, Tuan Giao district police and relevant units carry out activities of scene examination, autopsy, investigation and verification of collecting documents and evidence in accordance with law.

Based on the initial investigation results, it was determined that the reason was due to the conflict of borrowing money between husband and wife Tran Thi Thu and Nguyen Khanh Trung and Dam Van Luc.
