Rafael Silva López, Aged 61 dies by car in Paraguay

Fatal accident in Pirayú
A 61-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a car in the City of Pirayu. Closed-circuit cameras captured the tremendous impact.
The crash occurred at Compañía Tava’í, where a vehicle ran over Rafael Silva López, 61, when he was about to cross the route that connects the City of Pirayú with Ypacarai.

 
 

As can be seen in the images captured, the impact threw the fatal victim several meters, causing serious injuries that killed him hours later in the National Hospital of Itauguá.
 



 

The vehicle was driven by a 22-year-old young man identified as Marcelo Argüello who got out of his car to help Silva López. According to the interveners, the accident area can be considered risky considering that several traffic accidents have already been registered in the same place; It is a section in which drivers seem to pick up speed, making it a point where crossing the route all possible precautions must be taken.
