Rakesh Kumar commits suicide in Chamba

In the Janasali locality of the city, the youth has committed suicide by hanging the fan. This case came in front of Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar (21) Ghimo resident Homamani. The police has taken the mortal remains to Chamba Medical College for post-mortem. Police have started investigating the statements of the family members. According to information received from the police, the deceased was doing a hotel management course. But in the last days there was snowfall in his village. From which he could not go to the house and stayed in the relative quarters of Janali.

On Saturday late evening, the relative departed from the quarter and he was alone here during this time. During Sunday morning, when his family started calling him, he did not take the call. The relatives of the relatives called their relatives. It was here that he stayed.

He went into the room and saw his dead body hanged from the fan and he died. He immediately informed the police about the matter. On receiving the information of the incident, police team reached Chamba police station on the spot. Police raided the body and sent to the mortuary of Chamba Medical College for post-mortem. Along with this, also informed the relatives of the deceased. The police have recorded statements of the families.

During inspection the police have not got any clue. The police has brought the matter under section 174 of CrPC. Superintendent of Police, Dr. Monica said that the case of committing suicide by wearing a youth has come out. The police is investigating the matter with the depth of the case.
