college professor dies in accident Batticaloa

Eravur police said that the chemistry lecturer of Batticaloa Teacher Training College was involved in a massive accident.


He died in a road accident at Eravur in Batticaloa on the Colombo highway.

Kanthakutty Gomaleswaran, 48, from Chengalladi, Market Street, died.

This morning, he was going to Batticaloa for a duty.

The police, who seized the accident bus and brought it to the police station, has also arrested its driver.

Eravur police have been involved in further investigations on this incident.
