1 death and 9 injuries when a black car collide with workers who was just about dismantled illegal buildings in Yangzhou

Yangzhou Science and Technology Ecological New City Management Committee informed that on October 15th, commissioned by Hangji Town Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, Yangzhou Guangling District Successful House Demolition Co., Ltd. dismantled the illegal buildings of the 5th group of Shimiaomiao Village. At about 7:30, a black car suddenly started in the non-motor vehicle lane, colliding with the demolition personnel, causing 1 death and 9 injuries.

It can be seen from the live video footage of the online exposure that a private car rushed to the demolition personnel standing on the roadside green belt at the time, knocking them down and raising a lot of dust. After that, the private car was parked on the green belt and the front of the car was damaged. After the incident, a large number of people were watching the scene at the scene. The house that was demolished was a tourist goods factory. The glass was scattered on the ground and the scene was a mess.

Residents who witnessed the incident said that in the morning they found that the excavator began to demolish the building, and did not know what was wrong with the house. He added that the demolished house owner Wei Mou lived there for decades. Wei’s wife, Wang, said that at 6 o'clock in the morning, she received a phone call outside, saying that someone was going to move her house, and she rushed home.
