A corpse of a baby girl shocks the Residents of Beru-beru Hamlet, Beru-beru Village, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi (Sulbar)

The baby girl's body was found floating and emitting a pungent smell in the excavated pond, Saturday, 13th February 2022 yesterday.
The body of the poor baby was first discovered by Fauzan and Ridho who wanted to fish at the place where the baby's body was found.

"At that time we were about to go fishing and saw the corpse floating in the water, which at first thought it was just a doll," said Fauzan, Sunday, 13th February 2022.

Then, said Fauzan, he and his friend ran out of the place and told the local residents.

The police who arrived at the scene immediately conducted an examination and took information from several local residents.

Not yet known who had the heart to throw away the tiny baby. Police are still investigating.

The baby's body was then taken to the Beru-beru Health Center for further examination. []
