At about 17:30 on May 5, 2020, at the intersection of Jiujiang, Jiangxi, Xu drove a two-wheeled electric car to cross the intersection at a red light and collided with a car that was normally passing through the green light. Xu was hit a few meters away and suffered a serious leg injury and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
After observation, although Xu was wearing a quiet helmet, he was not fastened. However, Xu was lucky to be able to save his life: from the monitoring screen, it can be seen that at the moment of the collision, Xu ’s helmet only fell off after his head hit the windshield, so he still played a protective role. Subsequently, Xu tumbling on the hood and fell to the ground, his head did not hit the ground first, and was protected from a second impact.
After detailed observation, Xumou running the red light was the whole cause of the accident and bear all the responsibilities.
